Brazilian vibes

Let’s be honest: at first, I wanted to write two posts about Brazil. One was supposed to highlight all the obvious good things about this country where life is sweet and easy. I sincerely hope you’ll find that in the following pictures! But I was planning to write a second post about the dark sides we have found under the shadows of palm trees. E.g.: we had a lot of troubles communicating with locals, even with our attempts at speaking portuguese (not that bad!). Occasionally, people weren’t that welcoming, which was quite surprising knowing so many foreigners will visit them in the coming years. We got sick of sorting out plastic bags from incredibly clear neon blue waters, and we got tired of eating basically fries and cheese bread everyday.

But what can I say? I can’t help but remain optmistic: to me, a glass of caïpirinha cannot be half-empty! While watching those pics all over again and my tan fading away, I already miss this place. Away from the eye, but always in my heart: here’s a sneak-a-peek of what it does look like!
